I chose the soft Fuzz Monsta quilt because I wanted the solid border and panel sashing between each tshirt, to really make the colors of each one pop. I do basic sewing but didn't want to attempt this project.
I love my travel quilt -- not only is it soft and cuddly, but the craftsmanship is high quality, and I am reminded of wonderful places I've visited! Plus Customer Service was patient with all my questions and quick to respond.
However, the larger quilt's dimensions are supposed to be approx 4'x5' (48"x60"), but my finished quilt is 5'10"x7'3" (70"x87"). I wanted this for a lap quilt, and it is sooo much BIGGER than I expected! I would've ordered the 3'x4' quilt if I'd known it would be larger than the measurements on the website. Be sure you have them verify what FINISHED dimensions your quilt will be, as the website apparently is not accurate.
Also, I didn't want the long arm stitching (I felt it detracted from my tshirt designs), but the front (tshirts) and back (solid minky fabric) are only connected on the sides. So I laid out my quilt, pinned front to back at every tshirt corner, and used my sewing machine to stitch a couple inches wherever the sashes overlapped. Now it's easier to handle as front and back stay together. (This could be a nice option for MemoryStitch to offer.)
All in all, I love my travel quilt, as big as it is, and it will keep me very cozy!

I donated most of my husband's clothes about 2 months after he passed away but I did not have the heart to give away his favorite tee shirts. He wore those shirts often and they brought back fond memories. 18 months later and I still did not want to part with the shirts, yet having them in a drawer was not all that comforting. Fairly decent communication, very nice people and a quality product in the end.
One criticism I have is that they tell you in advance that they will notify you if your shirts are too small for the square space.
They didn't let me know, but instead added backing material in the spaces, putting the shirt in kind of a letterbox. Not terrible, but not really preferable and it kind of disrupts the overall aesthetic.
That said, I will use the product again - but make sure next time to stay on top of the process to make sure my shirts fit.

I had struggled for a very long time to collect my son’s shirts for a quilt. I did research on the best quilt making online store and, thankfully, I found Memory Stitch!! I began the task of gathering Christopher’s favorite tees and team shirts he had worn. I reached out to customer service on several occasions, and they were the best ever! Very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. After much discussion with my family, we agreed on the type of blanket, color of the backing and arrangement. With some panic, I sent the shirts in and was very relieved when Memory Stitch staff confirmed they were in receipt of the package! Due to weather related issues, there was a day or two delay, but of all days to receive my beautiful blanket, it was on the anniversary of my son’s death date. It was a joyous day, and I can’t describe the words to express the comfort I felt and the gratitude I have for everyone at Memory Stitch! The quality is top notch. The shirts were cut to size and the panels are all so expertly done. I was going to attempt to sew this together myself thinking, “how hard can it be?” Let me tell you, I am so glad I did NOT go forward with this plan. I could have never created such an exceptional product. The stitching on the back is another special touch offered. I’m beyond ecstatic with my purchase, and I have found comfort that’s been long gone from my life. I wrap myself up in the blanket and the love we shared comes pouring back to me. I trusted memory stitch to honor my grandpas memory by preserving his shirts for me. I had expected they would use the back panel not the front of the flannels, but thought it was a cute choice to use the front, however… they sewed across the buttons— causing a bunch to break and fall off immediately. I hadn’t even used it yet and a bunch of the shirts have broken buttons on them, all shirts were sent with in tact buttons. I have used the blanket once and keep finding the button shards falling off. This is really sad that this is my experience given the cost and importance of this item, I feel the company did not take care when preparing this blanket.

This is my third blanket and they're all amazing. My father loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and after he passed away in 2016 we had a ton of Harley t-shirts since those are the only thing he wore and we've had three blankets made from them. Such a great way to preserve memories! I gave the Fuzz Monday blanket to my sister in law for Christmas to give her a way of keeping her sorority memories close. It was a better option than the T-shirts just sitting on a shelf in the closet. The minky soft borders around well worn T-shirts are so buttery soft and help add even more comfort than T-shirts alone. She absolutely loved it!! She said all the memories kept flooding back while she clutched the blanket. All the T-shirts had pockets that I want to make into a pillow to acccent this awesome blanket. This quilt was for my son's 30th birthday. It was a combination of sweatshirts and t-shirts from his childhood, school years, activities, college, etc. A few months before his birthday, my dad passed away rather suddenly. Our son, Ryan, died suddenly and unexpectedly at age 24 on 4/15/22. He was in a punk rock band and into the independent punk rock, band scene. I am really happy that I found MemoryStitch. My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly this past October. I wanted something that my mother-in-law could enjoy for a long time.

Loved how you put the quilt together. It was a gift to my Down Syndrome son, using his deceased Dad's favorite shirts over the last few years. It had his favorite sport teams, his gift of being a good handyman with the Menards', Craftman's tools, This Old House shirt, and favorite PBS station that he watched faithfully. Since our last name is Czech for brewer and Pivo is short for beer, the beer shirts were included. It also honored Bill's years as a bocce ball coach for Eric's Special Olympics teams and the 30 years we have been part of Lake Kristine Owners Association up north. I'd love to say it's beautiful but I have not received it yet. I receives an "it's on it's way" email 3/22/2022. Since then FedEx has changed delivery dates 3 times and it looks like FedEx has been transporting it up and down the State of California for a week. I am so frustrated!!

I had 2 quilts made. One 3x4 panel size and one 4x5 panel size. I love them both but am disappointed, that on the 4x5 panel size there is a seam in the backing that shows through the t-shirts. The seam has created a ridge through one of the rows of t-shirt panels. It seems to me that the seam on the backing could have been placed just a few inches higher so that it was hidden by the sashing and would have blended in more. Other than this noticeable issue the quilts are very nice and the cost budget friendly.

High quality product!! Quick turnaround from the point I placed the order to delivery of the quilt. Disappointed they did not place my shirts according to the photo layout I provided or use the color backing i requested. I will say, they acknowledged their error and have offered to redo the quilt, however I am concerned about damaging the shirts when they pull it apart so I have to accept the quilt as is. Overall high quality quilt, just disappointed I didn’t get what I ordered and paid a lot of money for. This is my 2nd Fuzz Monsta quilt I have purchased, 1st one was beautiful and exactly what I ordered.
