Just a tip: the premium quilt is the way to go. You’ll want the of the quilt stitched all the way to the backing (especially the larger the quilt size you go) for ease of handling, washing, and maintenance.

I was not expecting it to be so BIG. I got 36, 14-inch panels (6x6) and it covers my King size bed and extends about 4 inches over the sides but not the bottom. 42 panels would definitely be enough for a Queen size and 48 panels would be perfect for my King size. I love the soft backing, softness of the front, and stitching throughout the quilt. I had used memory stitch to make a quilt for by daughter a few years ago and they did such a great job I got one for myself. And they always have promo codes you can find to save you lots of money.

Thank you Memory Quilt Experts! I was able to create a Queen size (49) squares of our son's childhood memories along with 2 Queen size Pillowcases using his gym bag and school flag. This is a California King Bed which fits perfectly. We also added hooks so he could hang on wall but so far his preference is on his bed. We upgraded to the long arm stitching and the minky fleece. We love it! Thank you for bringing his childhood back to life!

Absolutely incredible experience. RCFD Engineer miguel Cervantes was going through chemotherapy and we wanted to make him nice "chemo blankets" to keep him warm and motivated during his long treatments. We reached out to local fire departments for t-shirt donations and got an overwhelming amount of support and were able to make several beautiful quilts. I was also able to reach out to MemoryStitch and ask for a rush order and without questions asked, received the blankets in record time due to the deteriorating condition of Miguel. Unfortunately Miguel passed only hours before I received our quilts but his daughter and wife are now able to hold onto a little piece of him and the support from surrounding agencies for years to come. This blanket is awesome. I have been saving my tshirts for more than 30 years, they have been though 6 moves with me and I have always had the intention of making this blanket. I have been saving T-shirts for a couple of years with the intent of a “graduation quilt” for my daughter. I didn’t anticipate COVID and the impact it would have on all of us, making this quilt even more poignant. Not only does it commemorate her first concert, or her soccer Jersey; it also has the shirts created for the families of those who lost their job during the pandemic, or the first concert after everything opened. It was the second night of the bands first post-COVID tour and they cried over those they had lost.

Absolutely loved our quilt! We were a little nervous about how it would look because we didn’t have tshirts with cool logos, and we had a lot of black and colors that didn’t necessarily match. But memory stitch did an amazing job, and we especially loved the attention to detail like making sure the tag on the vest made it on there and the pocket of a sweater as well. That tag was very important to us because it was our loved one’s place of work. Overall, we were extremely happy with our quilt and it will be cherished for years to come.

Some of these t shirts are from the 90's and have been moved from Iowa to San Diego to San Francisco then back to Iowa and finally back to San Diego. I’m so pleased with how my quilts came out! I was having quilts made out of some of my late grandmother’s house coats she wore around the house all the time to give to my mom and aunt, so a lot of sentimental value. After I started cutting up the house coats, I got really nervous because some of them were very thin & I had to cut over some awkward seams like arm holes in order to get pieces that were big enough, and I was so afraid they wouldn’t be able to use them since they weren’t standard t-shirts. But they both turned out perfectly! My aunt and mom were so happy with them. The long arm stitching looks great & the backing was a very nice material. They look exactly like the layout I sent in, and I requested a change to the color of the backing for one of the quilts after I’d purchased it & they made that update no problem. Can’t recommend Memory Stitch enough!
